The guide
A local guide,
a lifelong storyteller.
For more than thirty years I have been introducing travellers from around the
world to the history, landscapes and everyday culture of Macedonia and beyond. My approach favours depth over
checklists: fewer stops, richer stories, and the freedom to linger where a
place deserves it.
I hold an official licence from the Greek Ministry of Tourism, which in Greece
is the legal permission to guide inside archaeological sites and museums. Tours
are always private — your party only. My own role on the day is the licensed
guide; where transport is needed, a driver and a comfortable air-conditioned
vehicle are arranged for the day, collecting you from your hotel, apartment,
cruise berth or the airport.
Tours are guided in Greek, Bulgarian and Russian. These pages are written in
English so that English-speaking visitors can read about the service and get in
touch, but the guiding itself is done in one of those three languages — which is
what keeps mixed-language families and groups together on the same tour.
